How to access the on-line EPS-CPD Scheme
- All Member and Fellow grades will have access to the CPD Scheme from 9am
Wednesday 10th February 2010
- Associate grades will be able to register as the Scheme rolls out. Members will be
informed again prior to the registration dates.
- Log-in to the EPS website as normal (www.the-eps.org) via the Members Login box
on the left of the homepage. You will then see an EPS CPD box underneath the
members log-in box. Click in the box to register and you will be required to read and
agree to the terms and conditions of use.
- You will be directed to your CPD record which consists of three tabs and a number
of links to the right of the three tabs. The links will allow you to access the
Information Brochure, The Core Competences Framework, Membership Upgrade
Information, The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and also to Log Out of
the Scheme.
- The three tabs allow you to access the Planning, Reporting and Recording sections of
your CPD record. Clicking on each of the tabs will direct you to that particular section and
allow updates. Updates are recorded at the bottom of the screen and you will be able to:
- At each stage of entry a help screen can be activated by clicking on the ? button and further information relevant to that entry is displayed. More detailed information is available in FAQs section.
- Following your initial login it is recommended that you change your password and do so at regular intervals.
- The scheme is simple to use, will be enhanced in forthcoming months and further assistance is available by contacting the EPS Central Office or emailing cpdteam@the-eps.org.
