Chair of Board - Marc Beveridge MEPS

Marc has been the Chair of the Emergency Planning Society and Chair of the Board of Directors for two years.  Before that he held the post of Director of Membership Development and chaired the Eastern Branch of the Society.

He is currently Programme Lead for the implementation of the Society’s Core Competence Framework and leading the Society’s drive for Charted Institute Status. 

Marc is currently employed by the Health Protection Agency where he has been involved in the HPA response to Buncefield Oil Storage Depot Fire, H5N1 Avian Influenza Outbreaks, South West Regional Flooding, Polonium 210 incident and more recently H1N1 Swine Flu.  Prior to this Marc worked in Local Government Emergency Planning and the banking sector.

In his spare time Marc is involved in the Scouting Association, enjoys hill walking and cooking.
