Regional Branches - London
Welcome to the London Branch!
The Branch aims to promote professional development, discussion and the sharing of best practice amongst those working in Emergency Planning or related fields, as well as those who simply have an interest in the subject.
The Branch is currently more than 250-strong, with members coming from a wide range of backgrounds and experience, including: Local government, the Emergency Services, the health and voluntary sectors, the utilities and transport, private industry and consultancy (please see the attached 'London Branch Demographics' documents for a full breakdown of our membership.
We predominantly cover the area within the M25, but members from the Home Counties, or indeed those who just have an interest in London issues, are welcome.
General information about us can be found on the 'Activities of the Branch' and 'Branch Executive contact details' sections, but documentation and details of previous/upcoming meetings/events are restricted to registered members of the Branch.
We are, however, keen to promote a policy of openess, particularly to encourage those who are new to the field, the Society or London to get involved. Any non-members interested in finding out more, are invited to contact the Branch Chair or Secretary for an informal chat.
