5th December 2008 - NI Branch Meeting and Christmas Lunch
Unfortunately the evening of Friday 28/11/08 is no longer suitable for the previously announced Christmas event. We have now managed to arrange what will be a fairly relaxed Branch meeting at Castlereagh Hills Golf Club followed by a Christmas lunch in the Golf Club Restaurant. Please let Michael Patterson know if you will be attending so that we can give numbers to Catering as soon as possible.
2nd October 2008 - Joint NI/ROI Meeting & Social
The next Branch Meeting will be held on 2nd October 2008 and will be a joint meeting and social event with the ROI Branch.
The 2008 Joint Event includes a conference "Communications in a Crisis"
Date - 2nd October 2008
Location: The Irish Stock Exchange,28 Anglesea Street, Dublin 2
Time: Access from 1:45pm for a 2pm start
Speakers will be the Irish Journalist and broadcaster, Charlie Bird and also Paul Connors of the Crisis Management consultants, Insight Consulting. The conference will be followed by a short Northern Ireland Branch Meeting. Finally in the evening there will be a dinner at "Salamanca" 1 St Andrew's Street Dublin 2. We will try to arrange a block booking in a convenient hotel for the night of 2nd October.
Places at the conference are limited and to help organise dinner and hotel we need you to indicate your attendance as soon as possible. Please complete the attached attendance proforma immediately and return to Michael Patterson.
22 May 2008 - AGM & Team Building Event
The NI Branch Executive Committee and members would like to say a really big thank-you to 38 (Irish) Bde, particularly Huw Morgan and his support team for hosting the AGM and Team Building event on 22/5/08 at Ballykinler Training Centre.
The event was a resounding success and was well above everyone's expectations. Wel done Huw and well done to our Branch Secretary Michael Patterson who put so much hard work into organising the event.
