The Emergency Planning Society

Regional Branches - I F S C Local Group


This Local Interest Group (LIG) meets once a month in the JP Morgan Building in the IFSC.

Its objective for 2008 was :-

To bring all interested parties from the Community together to develop a new plan with the Store Street and Pearse Street station Garda areas as the boundary.

The achievements of 2008 were :

•Revised Emergency Plan for IFSC Phase I
•Map of Emergency Evacuation Points

–An Garda Siochana : Store Street Station
–Community
–RPA / Luas
•Desktop Scenario – group
•Sharing knowledge and experience
•Fostering Relationship with Dublin City Council
–DCC SAFER – Flood awareness
–Emergency Planning Framework – what it means to us
