Please click on the link Public Consultation for National Occupational Standards in the Scottish Documents below for information from Skills for Justice re the development of National Occupational Standards for Civil Contingencies. You need to be logged into the website as a member of the EPS to see the links.

The public consultation on the standards is now under way and the communication below provides links to the official website and consultation questionnaire.

This is a significant development in civil contingencies work and it is important that as many people as possible take part in the consultation process.

I have been involved in the development of the standards and would be happy to provide you with any further information.

Please take the time to look at the proposed standards as it is important that they should be fit for purpose and considered by as wide a range of individuals as possible.
