Regional Branches - Current Activities
Water Resilience Event, Friday 14th September 2007.
Paul Fenton organised a tour of Southern Water's Otterbourne site which hosts their main extraction point. Paul gave a presentation on Southern Water's resilience processes, Annette Dawson gave a presentation regarding her involvement in the recent major floods of Evesham and Vanessa Middlemiss gave a presentation on her attendance at the World Confernce of Emergency Planning. These were followed by a very interesting tour of the water extraction facilities.
Power Outage Event, Tuesday 5th February 2008. Details TBC.
Power Outage is the theme. The event is to be held in Oxfordshire.
EPS Southern Branch AGM, Thursday 17th April 2008. Theme Olympic Games.
The event will be held in Buckinghamshire. It will begin in the morning with presentations and conclude with the AGM.
Recovery Workshop. September 2008. Details TBC.
Many training / exercise events finish at the recovery stage, this event will start at this phase!
The next branch Annual General meeting will be held on Thursday 17th April 2008 in Buckinghamshire.
