The Emergency Planning Society

Regional Branches - Yorkshire And The Humber

Introduction to the Branch

The branch for Yorkshire & The Humber serves the four counties of North, South and West Yorkshire and Humberside. We have over 130 members, drawn from a wide range of professional disciplines and meet at least 4-5 times a year. Most meetings take the form of a visit to an organisation or site of particular interest with some time set aside during the day for the ongoing business of the branch.

We are well represented on a number of Professional Issues Groups, with a broad spectrum of expertise including Crowd Safety, COMAH/Pipelines, Health & Environment, Local Authority, Media, Nuclear Issues and Transport Groups, CPD and Business Continuity.

We are always pleased to welcome new members. If you are interested in joining, please contact one of the members of the Branch Executive.
